SkillsUSA Iowa Launches Strategic Plan, No Limits: 2028

Ankeny, IA - SkillsUSA Iowa is pleased to announce a significant milestone in its journey towards achieving its mission. After months of careful planning, collaboration, and dedication, the organization is thrilled to unveil its new strategic plan, charting a course for the future.

The development of this strategic plan marks a pivotal moment in the history of SkillsUSA Iowa, as it sets the stage for the organization to enhance impact and better serve community. This plan is the result of extensive research, input from stakeholders, and a commitment to addressing the evolving needs of workforce.

Key components of the strategic plan include:

• Enhance Industry Partners - Forge new experiences that bridge the gap between education and industry by connecting students to career-ready experiences.

• Supporting Chapter Growth - Develop experiences at the local school level that involve every member in the development of workplace, personal, and technical skills grounded in academics.

• Develop a High Quality Championships Program - Increase opportunities for direct industry involvement in the development and support (including fiscal) to keep Championships sustainable and relevant.

• Enrich Professional Development - Expanding opportunities to engage educators in classroom integration and development of resources to promote key SkillsUSA and industry backed programs.
