SkillsUSA is a national nonprofit organization serving teachers and high school and college students who are preparing for careers in trade, technical and skilled service occupations, including health occupations. It was formerly known as VICA (Vocational Industrial Clubs of America).

Did You Know?
That Iowa had 8 Students Place in the top three in the nation at last summer’s National SkillsUSA Leadership Competition held in Kansas City in the areas of: Automotive Service Technology, Computer Maintenance Technology, Power Equipment Technology, Advertising Design, Plumbing, Technical Drafting and Welding?
Iowa also had an additional 21 students place in the top 10 in the nation in their contests.
